Movie-List: The Sixth Day:
"In conclusion, I would have to say I enjoyed "The Sixth Day" as much or slightly more than Arnie's last good action movie "Eraser". Welcome back Arnie and keep those action films coming."
Dallas Observer: Tears of a Clone: 16 november
"What's nice about The 6th Day is that it's not ashamed of its blatant reassembly of familiar elements, mostly lifted from Verhoeven's Robocop and Total Recall, with a dash of Cronenberg and some Blue Thunder thrown in for spice.
Since the script is confident--barring the somewhat sluggish final showdown--it weaves its elements together to create an inventive movie that stands on its own. Think of it as The Matrix for adults."
Seattle Times: Double the trouble in new Schwarzenegger action flick: 17 november
"And then there was one.
Stallone, Van Damme, Seagal: Most of the inarticulate, testosterone-laden action stars of the past are cinematically irrelevant now, replaced by smaller, sleeker models (Tom Cruise, "Charlie's Angels"). Arnold Schwarzenegger is the exception. He continues to lumber along, making high-tech action thrillers that, even if they do not do well domestically, still bring in the bucks around the world."
The Reel Site: The 6th Day:
"Though "The 6th Day" doesn't achieve the heights of Schwarzenegger's best sci-fi action films, such as "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", it still does rank as one of his better ones and should help end the current drought in his career.
However, aside from Schwarzenegger's larger-than-life presence, "The 6th Day" is a surprisingly clever and thought-provoking exploration of the implications of human cloning. Furthermore, with cues taken from "Total Recall" and "Blade Runner", it is also offers fascinating speculation about existence, what constitutes consciousness, and its interplay with identity and memory."
The Sunday Times: The last of the action hero?: 26 november
|
"He said he'd be back - and so he is, with a new thriller and Terminator 3 in the pipeline. But these days Arnie cares more about recounts than body counts, and he's pumping himself up for a full-blooded assault on politics." |

Arnold Schwarzeneggers footprints in cement at the Forecourt of Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA
The greatest honor a Hollywood star can receive is to have his or her footprints immortalized in the wet cement outside of Mann's Chinese Theatre, and if you're lucky, you may be able to see one of these mega-stars receive that honor in person.
Remaining space on the famous Chinese courtyard is scarce (there have been only 175 impressions to this date,) and is reserved for true superstars.
The public is welcome to watch, although they are kept at a safe distance from the wet cement (and the star). Over a thousand people turned to watch from the bleachers set up on the south side of Hollywood Boulevard when Arnold Schwarzenegger got his feet wet.

Crancy Critic: Startalk exclusive to CrankyCritic.com:
"Arnold Schwarzenegger sat for an hour with Paul Fischer, talking cloning (the subject of The Sixth Day, coming end of this year), big guns, Hollywood violence, politics, kidlets and art collecting. Arnie did the StarTalk just before the announcement of T3, so he couldn't talk about that. With pictures from The Sixth Day..."

DVDReview: Terminator 2 Judgement Day:
"For many months I have been following the development of Artisan Entertainment’s "Ultimate Edition" of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" as part of our extensive Production Diary, and although I knew much about the content of the disc and was familiar with most aspects of the release, it was still a very exciting moment when I finally held the finished version of this highly anticipated DVD in my hands."
Oakland: Arnold Schwarzenegger Conquers as Conan and Maybe as a Kennedy In-Law: 7 juni 1982
"As the hero of the $20 million prehistoric fantasy Conan the Barbarian, body-building champ Arnold Schwarzenegger lops and chops his way through a thicket of snakes, spirits and fur-clad evildoers. Some critics say he was born to the epic role; others compare him to Francis the Talking Mule. To the latter, Atlas shrugs, "Look, I always appreciate opinions and I don't feel personally attacked. And if they are witty, I really enjoy it."
