LA Times: Is Politics Any Business for The Terminator?: 19 mars
Politics isn't beanbag, but must it be dirtbag? Sleazy? And what is dirtbag politics? Is it what was done to actor Arnold Schwarzenegger by Gov. Gray Davis' chief political strategist? Did that cross the line into unacceptable sleaze?

In these situations, I'm reminded of those classic lines in the Godfather films: "It's business, not personal" and "This is the business we've chosen." In the political business, you can be smacked by a dirtbag.

After all, the man had the chutzpah to write a letter to Arnold Schwarzenegger to tell the aging bodybuilder he should donate an Austrian tank to Motts' museum. Schwarzenegger had driven the tank as a strapping young buck in the Austrian military and, when it went up for sale recently, decided he wanted it as a trinket.
That was before he learned Warren Motts had his heart set on it. After receiving the letter, Schwarzenegger first sent a friend and then visited Motts personally. The tank now sits in Motts Military Museum's large backyard in Groveport among a panoply of oversized combat remnants, like a World War II helicopter and a World War I caisson.
