Bill Dobbins: Olympic Games: "Program is full" - No New Events To Be Added in 2004: 12 december
"According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, December 12th, outgoing IOC president Juan Samaranch, speaking in regard to the proposed inclusion of ballroom dancing as a medal sport in the Olympic Games, stated that his was not likely to happen, at least not in the near future.
This would seem to have direct implications regarding bodybuilding and IFBB president Ben Weider's attempts to make bodybuilding an Olympic sport. It certainly does indicate that bodybuilding has no chance of being including in the Olympic Games in 2004."
